There is no output from one of the stereo speakers.

  1. Click and check the master volume in the Volume icon.

  2. If the balance is shifted to one side then there may not be sound from one of the speakers.

  4. Correct the loose connections.

  5. Both stereo speakers will now work.

Problem

A new TV tuner card has been installed, but there is no sound from the speakers.

Able to watch cable TV but no there is no audio.

Remedy

  1. Check whether the audio driver for the tuner card is installed.

  2. Check whether this TV tuner card is listed and enabled in the control panel device property page.

  3. Check to which jack the speaker is connected.

  4. After installing the TV tuner card, the new tuner card will be responsible to produce the sound.

The speaker connector on the sound card is to be connected to the Line-in of the TV tuner card and the speakers to be connected directly to the speaker (Line-Out) connector of the TV tuner card only. (Previously the speaker was connected to the audio output jack of the sound card). This may be the reason for no sound output. Now the problem is solved
