How do you install a SCSI hard disk in a computer, which only has IDE interfaces?

--> Most motherboards have only IDE interfaces. Latest motherboards come with SATA ports. To install a SCSI hard disk, a SCSI Host Bus Adapter card has to be installed. After installing the card and connecting the SCSI hard disk, switch on the computer. After the POST, the SCSI BIOS will prompt for any setup instructions. Follow the instructions from the manufacturer’s manual to install the SCSI adapter. To install Windows XP or any other operating system, appropriate drivers have to be installed when prompted by the OS installer, during the setup process. Now the SCSI hard disk will be identified and be available for use.
