Problem Digital camera does not switch on. Remedy Check for batteries in the camera. Check whether the batteries are charged fully. Connect the digital camera to the power adapter and confirm whether it switches on. If it switches on, allow the batteries to get charged and again check by switching off the main power supply. Replace the batteries if necessary. Problem Captured image (web cam) clarity is not good. Remedy Check whether the driver is properly installed. Check for proper display settings. Check the lens settings in the web cam. Adjust the lens system to show a better image on the screen. Use the calibration software to improve the clarity of the image.

Problem Joystick movement is not smooth. Remedy Check whether the joystick is connected properly. Check whether the joystick driver is installed. Use the joystick calibration software to calibrate x, y and z-axis movements. Joystick will work smoothly after calibration. Problem The joystick cannot be used, after installing a new sound card. Remedy Check the device property page of the joystick. Check the device property page of the sound card. Check whether there is any resource conflict. Change the conflicting resource settings. Both the joystick and sound card will function normally after changing the resource settings. Problem The scanner is not providing clear images. Remedy Check whether the scanner driver is corrupt. Problem Mouse not detected. Remedy Check the mouse connection to a computer it’s properly connected or not. Check for any physical damages of the keyboard cable. Check the mouse drivers are installed correctly. If mouse is ps/2 mouse first check the port where the mouse is connected. Is it wrong first correct this. If mouse is ps/2 mouse check any pin is bent or broken. if any pin is bent straiten it and connect. If mouse is serial port mouse, check ports in system properties. If the problem persists replace the mouse by a new one. Problem The mouse pointer is suddenly lost. Remedy Check the mouse is connected and the connecting cable is not damaged. Problem Key struck. Remedy Switch off the machine and detach the keyboard from the computer. The keys are struck pull out the keys by using a chip puller/twister. If the keyboard is mechanical adjust the spring in key switches and another one option is to replace the key switch by a new switch. If the keyboard is membrane keyboard, open the keyboard and clean all the membranes and re-assemble the keyboard and check for the stuck keys. If the problem persists replace the keyboard.
