General Mother Board Problem and fix
Problem System restarts after installing a PCI card. Remedy Switch off the computer. Remove the power cable. Remove and re-install the PCI card, in another slot. Check the computer for normal operation. If the problem persists, remove the PCI card and install and check in another computer. If the test computer works normally, then it may be because of compatibility issues. Replace this PCI card by another, after consulting which version of PCI the motherboard supports. Install the new PCI card and observe the functioning. Problem System does not switch on. Remedy Check whether power is available to the computer using a multimeter / tester.
