Mouse

Problem Mouse not detected. Remedy Check the mouse connection to a computer it’s properly connected or not. Check for any physical damages of the keyboard cable. Check the mouse drivers are installed correctly. If mouse is ps/2 mouse first check the port where the mouse is connected. Is it wrong first correct this. If mouse is ps/2 mouse check any pin is bent or broken. if any pin is bent straiten it and connect. If mouse is serial port mouse, check ports in system properties. If the problem persists replace the mouse by a new one. Problem The mouse pointer is suddenly lost. Remedy Check the mouse is connected and the connecting cable is not damaged. If it is a standard mouse, check for dirt on the ball. Check for any rough uneven surface on the mouse pad. Change the mouse pad. Check the mouse. Key Board

Problem Key struck. Remedy Switch off the machine and detach the keyboard from the computer. The keys are struck pull out the keys by using a chip puller/twister. If the keyboard is mechanical adjust the spring in key switches and another one option is to replace the key switch by a new switch. If the keyboard is membrane keyboard, open the keyboard and clean all the membranes and re-assemble the keyboard and check for the stuck keys. If the problem persists replace the keyboard. BIOS - Basic Input Outbut System

Problem The system is not maintaining the date and time Setting. Remedy The CMOS battery may be fully discharged. Switch of the system and remove the power cable. Check that the jumber meant for CMOS clearing is not set to reset the setting. If the problem presistes,open the system cabinet and replace the battery by a new battery(CMOS)3.3v. set the CMOS jumber in CMOS clearing. Fix the Cabinet.Connect the power and switch on the system.set all CMOS settings with date and time,save and exit setup Switch of the computer and switch on after 10 min to check the date and time whethe it's updated or not. Maximum the replaced battery has solve the problem.but problem still presists,send the motherboard for a chiplevel service. Problem BIOS updating process is not possible.
