Problem


The system is not maintaining the date and time Setting.




Remedy




  1. The CMOS battery may be fully discharged.

  2. Switch of the system and remove the power cable.

  3. Check that the jumber meant for CMOS clearing is not set to reset the setting.

  4. If the problem presistes,open the system cabinet and replace the battery by a new battery(CMOS)3.3v.

  5. set the CMOS jumber in CMOS clearing.

  6. Fix the Cabinet.Connect the power and switch on the system.set all CMOS settings with date and time,save and exit setup

  7. Switch of the computer and switch on after 10 min to check the date and time whethe it's updated or not.

  8. Maximum the replaced battery has solve the problem.but problem still presists,send the motherboard for a chiplevel service.



Problem


BIOS updating process is not possible.

Remedy

  1. check whether the motherboard has what type of ROM(either EPROM or Flash ROM)

  2. EPROM BIOS can be updated only by re-programming the EPROM chip.

  3. EPROM should be cleared by UV rays and new BIOS should be copied in.

  4. But flashROM updating is very easy.Following steps are very importend in updating FLASH ROM BIOS.

  5. Check if the is a jumber setting or a CMOS software setting too enable or disable BIOS updating.

  6. Download the correct file and update according to the manufacturer's instruction.

Install .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 10 without internet(offline)

By default  in Windows 10 .net framework 4.5 is pre installed. If we install .net framework 3.5 apps Windows 10 will prompt to install .net framework 3.5 from internet. It will take to long time. Here is another way to quick installation without internet connection. Insert Windows10 DVD or load your ISO image or Insert bootable flash disk. CTRL+E This PC -> Note the Drive letter of installation media  In my case it's D: Open Command Prompt as admin mode Type the following command                                                                                                   Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess Replace D: with your drive letter (what you note down before 3rd point) Now installation will start.After completion of installation "The operation completed successfully"message will display.
